I've only done the loop once, went Eastbound towards Hope and so on. This is the most boring part of the journey as it's roughly 2 hours of regular highway. I think next time I'll just go straight up towards Whistler, Pemberton, and turnaround after I hit Lillooet. There's some decent stuff between Lillooet to Hope, but it's questionable whether it's worth it as you'll have to go through that boring 2 hour part between Hope to Vancouver.
