Does Subaru traditionally move cars via rail cross country? I was under the impression they usually arrive via ship on the east coast.
That's my thought. The cost of fuel for that size of a container ship in addition to the fees to use the canal have to be pretty high. Maybe the amount of trucks/trains plus their fuel costs are comparable or more expensive? I honestly have no idea.
