You shouldn't have any problems shifting down to first if you rev-match properly.

I have a '99 M3 that requires that you rev-match and double-clutch to shift into first while moving. My BRZ on the other hand will happily (and easily) slide into first as long as I rev-match.

I do this all the time while heel-toeing to a stop.
