I can deal with the other frivolous shortcomings of the car. I bought it already understanding what I was getting into. But the gearbox is embarrassing to listen to. The more I drive it the more I wish they got it right. Off throttle in first and second especially the gears clatter and sound like the transmission is destroyed. And right off the lot shifting first thru fourth CRUNCH vvVVVVVvv CRUNCH vvvVVVVVvvv CRUNCH. I try my best to hide this when driving with or around people I know.
Why did they think this was OK? None of my other cars were like this at all.

Yeah... ummm thats not normal, my tranny is smooth and fast, the first couple thousand miles it was a little stiff but now its smooth as butter.
