I'm not talking just about price, I'm talking more about creature comforts which tends to bump up the price. A Lotus Elise and a Loaded Camry might sell for the same price, but obviously the Camry will be viewed as the more "mature" car.

The brands alone (Subaru vs. Scion) is a good reason why the BRZ is viewed as more mature. Most people wouldn't consider Scion as a "mature" brand. Even though old people love them.
