Get the 17x8 wheels. Probably the most versatile size for this car if you're near stock power. You can run anything from 215-235 width tires with no issues.
My current track setup is 215/45/17 tires on 17x8 wheels. Looks slightly stretched, but functionally works well. Feels very similar to stock, just more feedback, turn-in, and grip -- mostly due to the tires, not sizing btw.
I'm mounting 235/40/17 tires next.
