OP. Test drive both. My wife and I went to the dealer wanting the stick. We weren't even gonna try the auto but they had brought one up front and warmed it up for us so we drove it. And then bought it.

We have both driven manual for over 30 years so it's not like we can't drive a clutch in traffic or heel toe shift. And we're not old and lazy either. We both ride sport bikes and track our auto - planning to compete in NASA TTD next season with it.

And drifting this is just as easy as manual if you know how to drive. None of that clutch kickin hand braking bullshit. Throttle and weight transfer does it all very easily.

I think hes stuck in the past where he belives all automatics are slushboxes.Hes one of "those".
