The production age for most of the closeout tires are from 2009, which is a little concerning but I guess that just means I need to get the most use out of them right away
TireRack's website is on my bookmark toolbar so I check tires prices every once in a while because sometimes you find close out tires at ridiculous prices and even if they're 4-5 years old you should be able to use them for at least one year..
at that price point it's really hard to pass a deal like that, even if you use them for the rest of the season that's still like 20-25 heat cycles of pure happiness
