I've been itching to finally do something about my stock midpipe as it's 2.1 inches, stamped and notched all over.
I could get the made-to-order Works 2.5" midpipe that's coated aluminized steel for $399 to match up with my axleback,
OR
I could get a new full 2.5 inch t304 stainless resonated catback from Tsudo instead for $380 shipped via Speed Element.
I searched and found that @
glamcem removed a Tsudo catback and switched to a different one thinking it wouldn't fit with the DWL diffuser but I'm pretty sure it will fit without any major clearance issues. Especially considering where the stock midpipe comes in past the subframe:
The Tsudo midpipe comes in at the same spot and should clear the diffuser ok if I lower the leading edge enough. The midpipe may rest on it like the stock mp does. I can also grind a bit of material off the diffuser if necessary. The Tsudo muffler is tucked in nicely and doesn't hang low enough to interfere with the diffuser.
My Works ABM axleback will be for sale once this new catback is installed.
