Consider me the village idiot when it comes to this sort of stuff , but i wanted to know if you could assist me. i am in South Africa and I called Dastek/Unichip south africa for info and they advised that there is no such downloading of maps/reflashing from my lap top at home kinda deal here in SA, if i want my unichip in my 86 to work, i need to use the plug and play chip, put the car on a dyno and have it tuned by a tuner, if i want another map, pay the tuner $100 to tune an extra map etc. will the downloadable version ever reach south africa? is there any way i can purchase the cables/harness and do it myself as the guys in the US are doing?
any info will be appreciated
