I finally got around to weighing my wing. Well... most of it anyway.
It was made-to-order, so it took a few weeks to arrive. So when it finally did, I was too excited not to
immediately install it. I thought I could just bolt it on, stare at it, and drive it around for a bit, then just unbolt it real fast, weigh it, then throw it back on.
NOPE.
It was a way harder installation than I thought it would be. If it wasn't for @
userjack6880's very slender fingers, it probably wouldn't have happened in a single day. So... because of that, I don't want to take the mounting pads off to weigh them.
This really breaks my balls, having been so meticulous with weighing every little thing so far, but, SHIT. So, minus the two carbon fiber bases, the gaskets, and the hardware:
An APR GT-250 67" wing weighs 14.3lbs.
The stalks are still attached in this photo, you just can't see them because they're hanging down underneath the wing.
