Scion was talking about adding 30 more horses, but that talk has silently gone. If they could eventually match it to the WRX, I'd be happy. 250 or 268. I like the price point, but if started at over 30K, the targeted audience would not be interested and sales would look dreadful. Boys....and girls, I don't think we'll ever see the amount of horsepower we dream of having in this vehicle.

Who's to say they won't release two versions, the basic FRS and the suped up version with more horsepower and TURBO! The price would certainly rise, but production would be limited, so the wealthier could buy something that satisfies more their taste, and I could still live the dream in a car I can afford.

I read an article not too long ago that there is the potential Scion and Subaru will go their own ways in the future. There's pros and cons to that. I think for Subaru, they'd introduce an all-wheel drive BRZ, while Scion would evolve the FRS into something more amazing than itself in terms of performance and design, examples include the Toyota Spyder and Supra (fyi, Scion is owned by Toyota). Overall, I feel the competition between the two would drive them and have a end result of two great products.
