Direct injection is the key to unlock this door. Remember also that the S2000 is 240hp, so there will still be a couple ponies I think you can pull out of a 200hp 2.0l NA without going "crazyracecamsstallingatthelightsbuiltforarallysta ge" kind of mods.
Formula Atlantic 4AGE = 240hp out of a 1.6L engine. Can we see 300hp out of the FT-86's motor in race trim? An S2000 spec BEAMS 3S pushes 270hp give or take.
