They could DEFINITELY argue that a short shift kit could cause syncho problems because it
shifts faster.
They could (try to) make the case that the faster shifting is harder on the synchros.
I am not, in any way, arguing on the part of the dealers, just why make it harder for yourself?
Let me guess - You did not install the mods/parts, and dont know how to remove them.
