I have been through the process of getting my brakes Engineered (yep, that's a verb). The Dept of Infrastructure, responsible for ADRs and the like, doesn't recognise DOT Approval as an equivalent standard like TUV (Germany). The brake lines I had made has "ADR xx" (I don't remember the number) stamped into the flange collar.
