Only you can determine whether you can afford it. I myself like to make sure that I am fully self sufficient. Make sure that you take into account the little things as well. Oil changes are more expensive due to the Synthetic Oil, tires are expensive due to speed rating and low profile, Premium Gas Required, etc...
As my dad told me, "If you want it, and can afford it, get it! That's what you are working for!"
That said I have a good job, that appears to have no chance of changing. So I bought it.
I have to say that I LOVE the Car! and wonder why I didn't buy something like this years ago.
