Hmm my s5 doesn't have this on the lock screen...have you updating to latest OS version to see if any more options have showed up?
You could also flash to cyanogenmod rom. stay on the stable releases and you should be fine as far a s bugs go. It actually runs much faster and more battery efficient than the stock ATT rom did for me.
