This is from my own personal experience with duraflex etc. While yes it is my fault for bumping the lip, it did not take much at all for it to tear. Then if you want to fix your extremely expensive fiberglass you're looking at a fairly high amount at which point you might as well just buy another set.
i heard fiberglass was pretty easy to fix?
