Give the car back and go buy new. It will more than likely be worth the extra $$$$$.
I've had experience with 3 CPO cars now, not with Scion/Toyota and all have been a great experience, price wise not much more than had it not had it.

Unfortunately I can't "give the car back" in the case of this it does not qualify under any sort of lemon law, and it would take months to reverse the process at this point as I have quite some time before I get the title for the FR-S, and it will take some time for them to finish the process on the car I traded in (going between MA and NY)

They seem willing to fix the issue and repair the body. I think they know they got caught and I'm not a pushover. This is the kind of thing that could get a dealers affiliation revoked if its looked into and goes the legal route. I have more than enough proof to show negligence on their part and complete disregard for the CPO standards.
