I am little tempted to wrap my headers. My reason for doing so is my concern of how close the up and down part of the header (just behind the radiator) is to the rubber belt. Yeah, I have read of the disadvantages, oil soaked wrap catching on fire (doesn't apply), corrosion due to water soak ( headers are coated, I don't park with the hood up, any moisture would soon boil off with running engine).
So besides those reasons any hard facts as to why I shouldn't wrap?
Ta.
