Also, yes, the FRS front grill is pretty, but the BRZ comes with a lot more stuff than the base model FRS. So for the same money, no reason not to get the Subie. Oh, and it'll also hold it's value better because they're "rarer". Go figure.

This has everything to do with the WRX. Going along with your argument, a base WRX starts around $26,300 while a BRZ premium starts at around $25,600 and this is without TT&L or any additions. Given that small price gap, a consumer who doesn't give a shit about fancy interior features like myself would consider a faster car with AWD the better purchase. Because of this reason, they had to make a noticeable price gap between an equally equipped WRX with the same options as a BRZ limited in order to actually sell BRZs. You basically proved my point with your entire post.
