I can't see it being an installer error. It was done by a good shop. They spent an additional 3 hours trying to make the thing quiet with replacement parts sent out by Kartboy.

I get that certain frequencies can vary from car to car and cause it to behave differently. But - I don't think the shifter should be susceptible to rattling at any frequency produced by the vehicle. If the stock shifter can be made quiet - the aftermarket shifters should be too. It could be a manufacturing defect in some batches, it could be a QC issue, could be a design issue with the BRZ version, who knows. But this is not an isolated incident and it sucks.

PS - you can hear it go almost dead silent when I step on the gas at 1.5 seconds.
