I have the remote mount turbo kit, it doesn't change the fact there is added weight. I just choose a setup that moved it to a location I liked more and most do not.
The weight upfront already disrupts that CG so the argument again becomes invalid. You may be able to sit a Boxter lower but this motor is not further back than you can get an LS so again the characteristics require looking into more than just one point.
I actually just got an offer on the LS which is making me consider just putting another FA20 in as I am at the point I still could. But most likely I will not.
