Although the semi closed design was in good practice, the hypereutetic pistons werent cast properly, and yes came the term glass pistons. Also known for ringland snapping and such. The only advantage the EJ has over the FA is the amount of crankcase oiling it can do. Unfortunately the FA wasnt built for that extra 10-20 PSIa.
