ive have been torturing myself lately about this very subject. i recently decided that i would push off getting boost till next year. this thread has changed my mind. im going to enjoy my car the way it is, ill do more minor modding, and not take a chance. once im done having fun with this car, ill get an STI and be boosted from the factory. fuck that.

• Blew the motor because the car was purposely pushed beyond the limits at the drag strip to find out what the actual limits are, the tune was fantastic, the power was just a bit up there for the factory rods to handle

• Blew the motor running 18 PSI possibly due to cam timing issues and the heads lifted
