You didn't miss much. As Luca di Montezemolo said recently, today's F1 drivers are essentially taxi pilots conforming to absurd fuel economy regs, but you've heard me say the same before.

There's a reason besides age that Bernie Eccelstone may sell the commercial rights soon. The FIA is completely misguided in their current direction and with Jean Todt at the helm, no relief will be coming soon. The half empty stands at the German GP are the canary in the coal mine.
However, the horse is dead so I'll leave it to others to justify irrelevant, esoteric technology in the name of progress. Sad to see ideology trumping sport.
