My Obsession.
Hey all, thanks for checking out my build log. Let me give you a little background on me and my car. My first car was a 2003 Honda Accord I bought from my cousin; I still drive the same model car but a 2006 edition I acquired after a Tahoe pulled out in front of me. The accord wasn't my first choice but I learned to love it pushing the small FWD car to its limits. As the second car rounded into 90k I began to experience the realities of wear from daily driving a car, but I was too busy with school and work to pay much attention. Then one day leaving work at The Bazaar (South Beach) I noticed a silver sports car parked in-front of mine along the street. "Man that's nice... A new maserati?" I said to myself, but upon closer inspection... "Holy crap a Subaru!", I might be able to afford this. A few nights later I found this forum and everything changed.
The second chapter in this story began in September of 2014. Me and the pop took a trip up to Louisville to visit family, and on the way back decided to take a little detour. My great uncle passed away a few year ago left to us to house in Highlands, NC. No one had been up since so we decided to check it out. I had been up those roads once before when I was very little but this was a whole different experience. Heading south from Gatlinberg we winded thorough the Great Smokey National Park and I was in love. This was what I was missing. This is what my car was built for! Switch backs!!! Corkscrews!!! and more camber than a stance meet! I knew the second I got back to town something big was going to happen.

After many months in planning and a few hurdles we have began work on the bulk of this project. Currently the car is stripped in the body shop, while little by little parts have begun to roll in. Andres at KAB Customs in Sunrise, FL is my go to guy and will being doing all of the installation/fabrication. KAB will be producing a twin-scroll variant the turbo kit featured on SportsGuy1083's car
The goal for this year is to further improve handling and road feel and reinforce the FA20 platform for further power.
In planning for next year is development of a KAB Customs TR6060 Transmission Swap Kit and a block rebuild to take advantage of this new power ceiling.
