But that 40 pounds is not in the same place. The 86 platform has a center of gravity that is only 18 inches off the ground. That's lower than even the new Corvettes, and it's part of what makes this car handle the way it does. If you put more weight higher up, it would raise the center of gravity, and I would expect it to drastically impact the way the car corners.

Don't regret that. The teenage years are wasted in high school. I would love to have been in college at age 14.
