The second part of your post is a bit comical. The "easier and more intelligent way" would be to use the data from a magazine that's tested the max speed per gear using GPS-based equipment. Which is what I did.

Okay, I just reread your post and I think I misread it. Seems like you were referring to the drivers in the video, which makes sense now. I thought you were calling those that didn't test their max speed for each gear on the track idiots, since you quoted my post while you were saying that.
