My dealer's been calling me as well. They told me when I ordered to expect a call every Friday updating any new info they had. I was warned they probably wouldn't have anything most weeks, but at $30k, buyers expected at least some level of customer support. So far they've actually done it as promised.
I'm a first time Subaru buyer, but they also told me Subaru preferred they not give out the VON because that drives buyers to keep calling SOA and bothering them. I'm not sure how credible that is, but +1 for Lee's Summit Subaru in KC so far.
I also got a printed out order form with the VON on it.
