I just got a new dash cam and I am wondering if yall leave it mounted when not driving.

Obviously, if you wired it so you could record while you are gone, you would have to.

But for those who only want to record during the drive, do you take it off?

I am a bit concerned about the heat getting to the camera long period of time under hot california sun.
