Just took many of those roads yesterday to avoid the closure of 17. Highway 9 is no good. Avoid it, especially because beach traffic is going to be killer by 10-11. If you end up in Felton, I recommend Felton-Empire to Empire Grade. Very scenic. I hope I can meet up!
