I've tested almost all the available UEL and EL headers available. Both in NA and ESC application and UEL, on the whole, is generally superior. The don't make the dip worse and earlier in the rpm range like some long long runner EL headers and they don't just offer a small power advantage, in a very narrow rpm range, like some large diameter EL headers. Instead they tend to keep the dip where it is, just lessen the severity of it while having the most average power from 4000-7500rpm. In fact they are usually a good deal better than the ELs I've tested in the 7000-7500 range.

We have done a lot of testing over the last year and it's not surprise that we ended up developing a UEL. Unfotunately all the testing in the word doesn't seem to matter as much as hearsay or quotes from an outdated book (pre VVT) about exhaust design.
