To avoid scratches, you absolutely have to make sure:
- Your car is relatively clean to begin with. Otherwise, dirt and other particles underneath the car cover may scratch.
- Your car cover fits your car snugly. Otherwise, a loose car cover will simply move all around your car, causing scratches. Anything like dirty already caught underneath the cover will now only compound the problem.
