Since I'm sorting out motor supply issues I'm continue to look at other options. If anyone comes across other motor options please share.

Looking at TP Power's motor lineup I saw some of there lower voltage motors. I'm thinking about building and testing a 12V system with a smaller compressor. This would allow much simpler charging system with just a battery isolator. And since it would be charging directly from the alternator it could have much higher charging rates.

The boost would be low, but it would be a considerably simpler and probably cheaper system.
