For what its worth, the engine gets tested all along the RPM spectrum prior to arriving at the dealer, mostly breaking in the engine prior to you having ever set eyes upon the car. Finish breaking it in however
YOU feel comfortable; I tried to baby it during the "break in" period and that lasted all of about 100 miles before I was WOT through twisties and what not. The only thing we can all agree on is that you should enjoy your car.
