So I received a couple of motors yesterday, and I'm disappointed in both.
1st the SkyRC Beast x513 3Y. So far this motor isn't working well. It seems to have cogging issues and just won't spin up smoothly. I'm not surprised by this it's far from the most powerful motor. I still need to try tweaking the ESC settings. This could be an issue with timing. Or a soft start setting
2nd the TP Power 4070 2280Kv. I'm very disappointed, it was received damaged. Out of the box the end cap had come loose and the motor is pretty much useless. I've contacted them and requested a return for a full refund. I like the specs on their motors, but after seeing this I'm questioning the quality.
