Yes they did need to be baked open in order to enhance the brightness, and this was not new LED's @

here is what my front looks likes, glad to see others painted the DRL's, did you use a film? i tried all kinds of films and they never stuck so i painted.

Thanks a lot if you can't tell I was some what influenced by your build
I might paint the headlights black in the future so the boomerang stands out more. I thought about shaving the front emblem when I had the body work done in the front but it was too late by the time I thought about it. As for the yellow DRL's unfortunately they are film and they do not stick like you said lol so I might go back to clear or paint them yellow not sure yet.
PS. Congratz on the cleanest GBS IMO
