1-1.5L extra ... blame it on the tyres

Hello projectXTR.

I'm running stick EagleF1Asymmetric's in 225/35/18. Very sticky tyre both dry and in the wet. Obviously they're not really 'low rolling resistance' like the stock Michelin's are. What I do know, when I have a roundabout which I take at 50-55 with the Michelins, I take that same roundabout at 70 with the Goodyears. Personal taste wise, the 225/35's have reinforced sides, so those tyres are really very ridgid in turns, disadvantage ... don't expect comfort. But they're absolutely not loud.

Have a Celica as well where I had those cheaper tyres on (think they were Hankook), I didn't like them at all wet grip was crap those days (we're talking something like 4-5 y ago). I guess that meanwhile really 'bad' tyres you will not find anymore, except perhaps for the really cheap Chinese stuff (style Nankang and such).

Grtz
