My BRZ with STI springs and stock shocks ride similar than my GTI on the streets, not as low as my GTI was but it is already bottoming out rolling out of Pmall with the crappy tarmac. I can't imagine it with Sportlines.
Funny enough back in 2002 I had a 1.8T jetta with bilstein sports and Sportlines...can confirm teeth shattering stiff and no travel. It was actually a rather perfect and cozy ride in Sarasota, FL where I grew up (on flawless pavement) but then I went to college in the midwest with horrible roads and I think it basically rode in the bump stops most of the time.
