It could. I was thinking if I should get a longer hose when I was currently working out the problem. Using that 90 degree coupler is a better idea, if you could angle the valve away from the block. It's just things are pretty cramped in there that I can't tell you clearly if it would work or not. Worth a shot though. I'd gladly follow suit if you make it work.
