The ideal tire for an 8" wide wheel is a 225/40R18. Same diameter as stock and will be flush with your wheel (i.e. not stretched or too wide).
You shouldn't rub at stock height at all, but if you start lowering, the high wheel offset will put the rim closer to the strut.
It shouldn't get close enough to rub but if it does, you could just add a front spacer, like 3mm or so.
This will only be needed if you drop it ALOT (2"+), otherwise you will be fine either stock or lowered 1-1.5".
