I wish I could say I haven't seen dealerships sit on cars for
months on end with a big juicy market price adjustment stuck next to the Monroney, but I have several times.
Hell, when I was looking into a Boss302, the dealership I was talking to refused to even consider making a compromise on their MPA to make the sale that day, in hopes some idiot would eventually show up. They turned down a potential sale due to greed. Ironically, it did take several months before they moved that one car....and I continue to bad mouth that dealer and dissuade friends from buying there.
It obviously takes two to dance. I guess I just don't subscribe to the school of war-path short-term gains at the expense of long-term failure.
