Its plugged in to what I think is the headlight circuit since it has to dim them when the headlights are on as per DOT restrictions. Everything is a simple quick release connector and is easily removed. I unpluged and removed everything in just a few minutes except the wiring routed through the engine compartment from the led to the control box. That I did at a later date just out of convenience and bad timing.
