Yes, and I addressed that above that quote. In the part you quoted, I was specifically addressing your comment above about turn signals, in which you were
also wrong. No matter how you try to weasel out of it, what you want to do is not legal in the US or Canada under FMVSS 108 and CMVSS 108.
I also addressed why the law was like that. Doing it anyway would make you a douche. And yes, I like that word because it fits. Anybody who intentionally sets his car up to piss off other drivers is a miserable douche.

Yes. CMVSS 108 requires all rear-facing lights other than the reverse light to be red or amber. That includes turn signals. It's not that difficult. Why are you having so much trouble comprehending this simple concept?

FORWARD-facing turn signals can be white or amber. Rear-facing signals, like what he mentioned above, have to be red or amber.
