Burnin your warranty worries me but thats why I emphasized having car building knowledge. Soon or later something is going wrong and I hate freaking out. I dont care much for awd even if its faster off the line. RWD just gives you something to goof around with. Back seats would be nice but I enjoy lightweight cars.

Here is the thig, the 86 has unbelievable driver feedback. Its incrediably confidence inspiring I am in complete control. You lose that with a larger car with a more lax center of gravity. When i sit into my 86 i feel like I am strapping into a nimble fighter jet like the F16. When i sit behind my buddies wrx i feel like I am holding on to a bucking bronco. Different sensations for different people but I urge you to imagine this. What if that nimble fighter jet you strapped into could actually put you back in your seat or Pull away on a highway? Wouldnt that be a better car?
