Five dealers charged MSRP and those vehicles were taken up immediately. The sixth dealer charged MSRP + $1,000 (with a significant non-refundable deposit), had 6 allocated, and as of a few days ago sold 5 pre-orders. When I ordered mine on 3/24 there was no choice but to go with the last dealer.

Yea, I was afraid that would happen here in Atlanta, which is why I was looking at the FR-S to begin with here. I wouldn't have ended up with the 86 at all if I had to pay above MSRP. It pains me to even pay that! I've never paid MSRP for a car.
