First - I have a 2014 BRZ Limited.
I have read this thread a number of times. I am having trouble getting the dang thing installed.

The latest failed attempt was that I ordered this:

Amazon.com : Axxess by Metra AX-TOYUSB USB Adaptor to Retain the OE USB in Select Toyota/Lexus Vehicles : Vehicle Audio Video Power Adapters : Car Electronics as linked earlier in the thread.

It doesn't fit the BRZ. Not mine anyway. I was assuming that I would just take the head end of the cable (with the square USB connector) and plug it into the socket on this cable - then plug the standard USB into the CA-FI usb/ipod cable. The BRZ has a squareish connector - not rectangular like this. I even popped the entire USB/Aux assembly out, disconnected the cable and tried to put the adapter onto the connecter panel. No such luck.

Can anyone point me to the correct cable for a BRZ?

I also was told earlier in the thread that I will not have to worry about the power cable for the antenna. True? I won't splice it if I don't have to.

Thanks! I am going on close to a week of having the unit and not being able to use it due to the install. The info is in this thread but there are no really clear install instructions and it appears that the twins have some variations!
So, you and another guy on this thread seemed to have problems with the USB adapter, which is odd since it's literally the easiest part of this whole thing. You plug the squarish big harness part of the adapter into the connector part of the USB wire that goes down to your stock USB port. Then you plug the male USB plug into the usb in on the CA-FI (the one that is paired with the iPod connector), you can also attach a hub. There's no taking apart of the USB/AUX port, it just plugs in. If it's not fitting then you must have got shipped the wrong connector, same with the other guy who posted a picture of something none of us recognized. It should look just like the picture on Amazon I believe. Just return it and get another one shipped to you. IDK which seller you bought from but I bought from Sonic Electronix, Inc, so try them. The BRZ does not need to connect the blue wire for your antennas, just the 2 plastic connectors.
