Bit of a newb, but I think I follow what you're saying. I do want to maintain steering geometry, but I probably will do lowering springs at some point. When you say the +35 "pokes" more than +45, do you mean they will stick out closer to the fender? And what exactly does "tucked" mean? You mean like hugging against the fender? Sorry for the dumb questions, and thanks for the help.
It sounds like +45 would work better for me, since I don't care too much about the wheels hugging SUPER close to the fenders...of course I don't want the wheels super pushed in either. So +45 sounds good, assuming it clears the suspension.

yep, you've got the concept down, and don't read too much into it when i say tucked...what's "tucked" for some is a good looking fitment to most.
For a similar price/performance range, i like 5zigen ..although their style selection is VERY limited.
As far as performance wheels, there's not alot of competition in enkei price range. If you were willing to spend a bit more you could look at OZ's/sparco wheels(cheap OZs), and the Work Emotion Line. Work emotion CR kai/ultimates have always been one of my favorites. I'll probably end up with those for the FR-S/BRZ. These Works can easily be twice the price of enkei's though, so i can't say there's value in them, but the heart knows no value

I do think any enkei is a great choice though.I've owned the GTC01,EKM,RPF's and the RPMs before, all great rims. Their styles are rarely flashy but they get the job done
