thanks for the info dude. i can't imagine how fun putting a replacement on is haha. i'll just throw some tape on it, like you, and call it a day...it's only on the top anyway.
just finished it up though, and it feels great. exactly what i was looking for. thanks to the op for the great write up. i'd give thanks but this is only my second post haha.
i didn't put the rear shifter bushing in yet, but does it make that much of a difference? and is there a diy for that?
